A DAY IN TOKYO - PART 7 - LOVE HINA

We all have had that special someone in our life who just makes us melt, someone who we'd do anything for, someone that acts as our second half. Love is a complex and indescribable thing that nobody can fully understand in a lifetime, and the fact that this is a good feeling as well just makes it even better! Yes, love is an amazing thing, but it's not easy, and no other cartoon in recent memory illustrates the struggle, rewards, and devotion demonstrated in relationships better than Love Hina.

A DAY IN TOKYO - PART 6 - PANTY & STOCKING WITH GARTERBELT

Have you ever watched a show that just loves to have fun? I've seen very few shows that are presented in such a lively, unique, and personality-filled fashion, and strangely enough, all the shows that fall under these categories for me are either raunchy or just plain weird (Clone High, Drawn Together, Ren & Stimpy, Desert Punk, etc.). WILL Talks GAMES: Tales of the Abyss

TALES OF THE ABYSS

I am far from an emotional person; I can go to funerals, listen to sad music, and have things die before my eyes, and while I may get sad, I don't show it that well.  I don't cry, I don't blow my nose - none of that.  I think it's because I usually take things at face value; if no detail or briefing of any kind regarding the tragedy is thrown at me beforehand, then I guess I feel like I have no reason to be sad.  At least, I guess that's how it goes.  I still don't really understand my psyche in that department.

This game, though - this piece of software that's simply made to convey a story - this game has welled up more emotions in me over the past three weeks of playing it than I've really felt in the past year.  Tales of the Abyss for Playstation 2, and most recently, re-released on the 3DS, is among one of the most powerful stories I've ever witnessed, and is among the most elite of all RPGs I've ever played.
